Biography

Simon was born in Harlow Essex (UK) in 1965. He was educated in the town at Holy Cross Junior School 1969-76, and St Marks Roman Catholic School 1976-83.

Simon has been writing and performing poetry in the East Herts, and West Essex area, for several years, where he has established an impressive reputation

Since 1997, Simon has published several collections of verse. August 2001 saw his appointment as the very first poet-in-residence at the Broadstairs Folk Week in Kent

In March 2002, his first full length book COOL BANANAS, was released, to much acclaim.

Simon is currently available for festivals, comedy clubs, folk bookings and art centres. His work fits in excellently as ceilidh interval entertainment. He can also host workshops.
