Simon,
a poet, who first began performing around the pubs and folk clubs on
the Herts and Essex border.
In 2001 he was the very first poet in residence at the popular Broadstairs
Folk Week and has been a regular guest there ever since. He
has appeared at many other festivals including Rochester Sweeps
and Cornwall Folk Festival.
He has published many collections including the successful and highly rated 'Cool Bananas' (2002).

Jeremy
Largest feet. Longest serving member since 1990 when the
club was on the restaurant boat at Waltham Abbey Marina. Worked through
electric piano and boxes of music, guitar, writing songs and tunes.
Now plays the accordion. Goes to at least one folk festival a year.

Refugee from the late lamented Hoddesdon folk club. "Waltham Abbey
is a friendly, welcoming club". Sings songs of all sorts but mostly
traditional - especially ones with a good chorus.
